On September 6, 2024, Synergy Ocean Maritime Inc. (SOMI) hosted the annual SOMINAR\u2014an event whose name combines “SOMI” and “seminar”\u2014in Hai Phong City, Vietnam. This marked the second SOMINAR held in Hai Phong, following the previous event held on October 5, 2023. This year’s SOMINAR focused on enhancing seafarers’ skills and strengthening the relationship between the crew and management. The theme, “Implementing Company Procedures for Incident-Free Ship Operation,” underscored SOMI\u2019s commitment to safety and operational excellence. Held at The Pearl River Hotel & Apartments, the event brought together 51 senior and junior officers, staff from VINIC, a Vietnam-based manning company, and notable visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n

The SOMINAR provided comprehensive training on key maritime topics, including safety protocols, risk assessment, fuel management, and compliance with industry regulations.
